Terms of Service for Antique Identifier

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Antique Identifier web application at antiqueidentifier.app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
Free users receive a limited number of antique identifications. To unlock unlimited identifications, users may purchase a premium subscription.
a. We offer two subscription models on the web platform:
$6.99 USD per month: This subscription provides premium access for 1 month. The renewal price is the same.
$39.99 USD per year: This subscription provides premium access for 1 year at a significant discount compared to the monthly plan. The renewal price is the same.
While premium users have unlimited access to Antique Identifier, fair usage policies may apply. To ensure a high-quality experience for all users, rate limits may be implemented if usage significantly exceeds typical patterns. These limits are designed to be generous and should not impact regular usage.
b. All payments on the web platform are processed through Stripe. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings.
c. We reserve the right to change the pricing, subscription terms, or benefits associated with subscriptions. Any such changes will be communicated on our website.
3. Platform Availability and Separate Subscriptions
Antique Identifier is available on three separate platforms: the web (antiqueidentifier.app), iOS (App Store), and Android (Google Play). iOS and Android are different platforms from the web, and each operates independently with its own billing system, account backend, and data storage.
A subscription purchased on one platform does not automatically work on any other platform. For example, purchasing a subscription on the web (through Stripe) does not grant premium access inside the iOS app (billed through Apple) or the Android app (billed through Google Play), and vice versa. If you want premium access across multiple platforms, a separate subscription must be purchased on each platform you use.
Your data and identification history are also platform-specific. Identifications created on the web are stored only within the web platform and are not synchronized to the iOS or Android apps. Likewise, identifications created in the iOS or Android apps are not available on the web.
These Terms of Service govern your use of the web application at antiqueidentifier.app only. Use of the iOS or Android apps is subject to the separate terms published within those apps and the policies of the respective app store.
If you wish to use Antique Identifier on your iPhone or Android phone, please install the app from the respective app store. Alternatively, you can continue using the web version at antiqueidentifier.app in your mobile browser.
4. Usage Limitations
a. We reserve the right to limit the number of identifications for free users and may change or terminate our services at any time.
b. IMPORTANT: Antique Identifier is intended for educational and informational purposes only. The antique identification feature should NOT be relied upon as the sole method for determining the authenticity, value, or origin of any antique. Users must exercise caution and consult with certified appraisers or other qualified experts for professional evaluations of antiques.
5. Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your account at any time from your Account Settings. Deleting your account will remove all your data from our systems, including your profile, identification history, and any active subscription will be cancelled. This action is irreversible.
6. Intellectual Property
a. All content within Antique Identifier, including text, graphics, and code, is the property of Mario Saputra and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
b. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content from our service without our permission.
7. Third-Party Services
We utilize the OpenAI API to power our antique identification feature. While we strive to provide the best service, we are not responsible for any errors, inaccuracies, or unavailability stemming from third-party services including OpenAI, Stripe, or Firebase.
8. Privacy
Your use of the service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and use your data.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time for any reason.
10. Disclaimer of Warranty
We provide the service on an "as is" basis, without any warranties or representations.
11. Limitation of Liability
a. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the service.
b. By using Antique Identifier, you agree to hold harmless Mario Saputra, its employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or any actions taken based on the information provided by the service.
